You’ll help the Libraries improve internal communication to enhance information sharing, and collaboration among library employees. This includes supporting the Dean of Libraries with stakeholder presentations and crisis communication as required.

As the Libraries events lead, you’ll spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive events strategy aligned with WVU Libraries’ priorities. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll identify event opportunities, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and oversee planning procedures. Your responsibilities will include coordinating various programs and events, maintaining an events calendar, and creating compelling marketing materials to attract participants/attendees and generate interest in and support of the Libraries.

As the Director, you’ll lead a small team, overseeing all aspects of communication and marketing material production to ensure timely completion. You’ll provide guidance across library units to optimize workflows and achieve library-wide communication goals.
