Tippins Foods is a start-up camping food company committed to taking camping food to the next level. We are in pre-production for our flagship product and are seeking an enterprising individual with marketing experience to join our growing team. This role is for someone who wants to be a part of a company from the ground up and work on company that is producing a physical product. The position requires flexibility and will change in duties and responsibilities as the company grows.
Initial Job Responsibilities:
· Market research, product testing, and consumer interviews.
· Assist in product design, brand creation, website design, and management of public relations.
· Contacting and crafting relationships with potential retailers.
· Management of contractors.
· Other duties as they arise (it’s a start up, there’s going to be a lot of this).
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
· A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, sales, or a business-related field.

· Experience in food production and specialty outdoor retail industries.
· A self-starter attitude with the ability to take an idea and turn it into reality.
· A fan of the outdoors with personal experience in backpacking, camping, and hiking.
Timeline:
This role is intended to be a long-term position. The start date is set for early to mid-July.
Compensation:
This is an exempt employee position. Our salary range for this position is $40,000-50,000, with profit-sharing opportunities depending on performance. Paid vacation time and sick days. Healthcare, dental, and vision will be available.
Workplace and Travel:
Our office is currently located in Blawnox, PA. We are looking into moving into a larger facility in the immediate area. This is an in-person Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm position, but dependent on construction, remote opportunities may exist. Travel to suppliers, retailers, and industry trade shows should be expected several times a year, but less than 10% of hours worked.
